Dr. Izak Nieuwoudt is a globally known mass transfer expert. His contributions to the world of the separations are immeasurable. Izak’s background and experience include:
- Development and testing of mass transfer equipment
- Development of mass transfer processes
- Development of hydraulic and thermodynamic models
- Process simulation and VLE measurements
- Pilot plant design, construction, operation, and EH&S management
- Troubleshooting
Very few chemical engineers have contributed as much to the field of mass transfer as Izak has in academics and industries. Fewer chemical engineers have contributed as much to the field of mass transfer as Izak has fundamentally and practically. This presentation will highlight some of the many contributions of Dr. Nieuwoudt to separations engineering.
