Distillation control continues to avoid easy answers that fit every situation. Active work continues in improving all elements of control for single input-single output configurations and simple control schemes through the most complex multiple-variable optimization systems. This session solicits papers on all elements of distillation control. Possible subjects might include distillation control fundamentals, inferred control advances, control and safety, multivariable control, model-based control, control and Big Data, data integrity and control reliability, control troubleshooting, and others. Papers are encourages from operating companies, vendors, consultants, academics, and others with an interest in this area.
