(31b) A Critical Review with Compilation of Pure and Multicomponent Gas Adsorption Equilibria and Isosteric Heat of Adsorption Data

We present a compilation and critical review of the existing literature data on gas adsorption equilibria and isosteric heat of adsorption. The NIST/ARPA-E adsorption database1 covers wide ranges of pure component adsorption isotherms. However, it does not cover data for mixed-gas adsorption equilibria nor isosteric heat of adsorption. These data are essential for the development of robust multicomponent gas adsorption equilibria model such as adsorption non-random two liquid (aNRTL). The reliable predictions of the models depends on the quality of experimentally measured data and experimental measurement techniques. In this work, we compile and analyze the quality of mixed-gas adsorption experimental data and uncertainty associated with it. We further present prediction of the selected models for several multiple component systems.
