Chemical engineering uses both traditional and ever-increasing new ways to create life’s essentials and to enhance life’s quality. What new directions should we expect in science, technology, education, and society's expectations? A new consensus study report, freely available on the web, offers ideas developed by a committee of the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM). Eric Kaler, President of Case Western Reserve University and the committee's chair, will summarize the findings and take questions from a panel and the audience.
