T&EP Graduate Student Award Session

The TEP Division sponsors an award for a paper related to Transport Phenomena in the areas of renewable feedstocks, alternative and flexible fuels, energy efficiency, energy storage and conversion, and clean technologies. A TEP Committee will review papers submitted by Graduate Students (requirements below) and will award prizes for First ($300), Second ($200), and Third ($100) Best Papers. By May 31, 2021, an application packet must be submitted via e-mail to Prof. Andrej Lenert (alenert@umich.edu), and include the following information: a) Curriculum Vitae, b) a letter of recommendation from the Graduate Student's Advisor. The letter should be e-mailed directly by the letter writer (pdf preferred), and c) 1 referred research publication (published or in press, in pdf format) where the presenter is the 1st author, if applicable. Eligibility criteria: 1. Must be a graduate student pursuing an academic degree at the time of the competition 2. Must not be a past winner of the TEP Graduate Student Award.
