This session will honor the work of our late colleague, Paul Steen, who passed away in Sept. 2020. Paul was Maxwell H. Upson Professor at Cornell University, where he had been on the faculty since 1982. Paul made seminal contributions to interfacial fluid mechanics and was very active in service to the AIChE Area 1J community. Speakers in this session will contribute a combination of their own work as it intersected with Paul’s, as well as anecdotes recalling him as a scholar, colleague, and friend.
