Proteins with therapeutic or enzymatic function are widely used in environmental, industrial, and medical applications, and emerging protein engineering technologies empower new directions in their discovery and design. This session highlights recent advances in developing and applying these proteins, with a particular focus on innovative formats and fusion proteins that are advancing the biomolecular design landscape.
