The emergence of significant domestic natural gas resources makes natural gas a potential alternative feedstock for petrochemicals. This symposium will provide a forum to demonstrate multi-disciplinary, integrated approaches to catalytic reaction engineering focused on overcoming the technical challenges associated with the utilization of these natural gas resources. Upcycling of flare gas into value-added chemicals would also be of interest.
