Chemical Engineers Leading in the Era of Industry Digitization (Invited Talks)

We are now in an age of exponential growth and disruption enabled by new digital technologies fundamentally changing how engineers do their work and how they manage their career. There are challenges with the integration of digital with the physical world, impacting chemical industries, which now require new management practices. The use of digital technologies to effectively gather, analyze, create, communicate and use information, has become critical to survive and can be a source of competitive advantage requiring diverse teams. We will focus on how digital technologies (IoT, data science, machine learning and robotics) creates new value to chemical engineers.
