AIChE Executive Student Committee (ESC)
The AIChE Executive Student Committee is composed of at least 18 Regional Liaisons, with a minimum of 2 from each of the 9 regions, charged with the mission of expanding communications between student chapters, serving as a resource for those chapters in need, and promoting a stronger relationship with the national AIChE organization. Each pair of Regional Liaisons are elected in the Fall of each academic year from a majority vote of leaders from all chapters in their region. Regional Liaisons serve for a term of one year, terms commence and end at the AIChE Annual Student Conference.
6 Regional Liaisons will hold secondary roles as Student Cabinet Members. The Student Cabinet Member positions are:
1. Chair
2. Vice Chair
3. Division/Forum Chair
4. Local Section Chair
5. Membership Chair
6. Young Professional Chair

All those who wish to run for a position on the Executive Student Committee must be both national and chapter members of AIChE. Each AIChE Student Chapter will have one vote to cast for the election of Regional Liaisons.

- September 15 - Applications available
- September 30 - Applications due
- October 3 - Professors will be asked to nominate students if not enough applicants
- October 7 - Professor nominations are due
- October 10 - Voting closes for any RL elections (if necessary)
- October 12 - RL for 2011-12 are announced
- October 15 - 7am - ESC Meeting in Minneapolis, MN (attendance required)
