Freshman Recognition Award

The Freshman Recognition Award is presented to one National AIChE student member in each student chapter who has been the most active in their student chapter during his/her freshman year, on recommendation of the Student Chapter Advisor.

  • Free Registration to the 2012 AIChE Annual Student Conference 
  • $50 Travel Allowance to be used towards the 2012 Annual Student Conference
  • Certificate of Recognition

The 2012 Annual Student Conference will take place from October 26-29, 2012 in Pittsburg, PA

2012-2013 Application Form 

Note: To be eligible for this prize, the nominee’s student chapter MUST file an annual report with AIChE. The reporting period is open from May to June 30, 2012. Award nominations may be submitted in advance of the report, with the expectation that the chapter will file a report by the reporting deadline. Award nominators will be notified after July 1 about any missing annual reports. Chapters will be allowed a one-month grace period after the nomination deadline to file a report.
