This year, the young professional meeting mixer is being held at the Gordon-Biersch restaurant and brewery at 200 Poydras Street in New Orleans, Louisiana from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM on Sunday, March 30th. The cost is $7 to attend, which will include two drink tickets, as well as an abundance of food, both savory and sweet. Some items include Gordon-Biersch’s famous garlic fries, crab cakes, chicken skewers, veggies, dessert cookies and bars, etc.
The event is geared towards young professional conference attendees including local universities students and gives everyone the opportunity to network and meet new individuals. Additionally, several of the AIChE divisions and forums will be present to talk about their roles and help recruit additional young professionals who may be interested in those fields.
An ice-breaker will be initiated towards the beginning of the night to help introduce attendees as well as award winners with additional drink tickets. Additional time will be available to network with others as well as talk to the divisions and forums, who have graciously donated time and money to help make this event happen. We are looking forward to a successful event and hope to see you there.
