Cramer will give fellow engineers insight into the nature of a trial or administrative law proceeding, and show how this type of adversarial proceeding differs from the collegial environment to which they might be more accustomed. Dr. Cramer will present material from a two-day AIChE course on expert testimony that he taught for ten years with an attorney colleague. He will include lists of good practices in the presentation of expert opinion, and he will detail the pitfalls that should be avoided. Dr. Cramer will show how you, the expert, can improve your skills in the art of presenting testimony.
