What do you need to know about mercury, HCI, metals and other toxics control? This webinar addresses technical and permitting issues from two perspectives: what is required (by Nick Hutson of USEPA) and what strategies could you adopt (by Bob Fraser of ERM). The presentations are followed by a Q&A moderated by Dr. Connie Senior (ADA- Environmental Services). Topics include an update on the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) and an update on the boiler MACT rule.
Mr. Fraser has over 33 years of experience providing engineering and environmental services to the power generation industry. His areas of expertise include power generation facility engineering, development, and permitting, air pollution control technology application (RACT, BACT, MACT), power generation asset environmental due diligence and power plant environmental compliance and non-compliance support.
Nick Hutson is a Senior Chemical Engineer with the Energy Strategies Group (ESG) in the U.S. EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) in Research Triangle Park, NC. Dr. Hutson was previously, for 10 years, a staff researcher in the Air Pollution Prevention & Control Division in U.S. EPA’s Office of Research & Development (OAR).
