We at Air Products have developed a very robust "safety" culture over the years. My talk will review the highlights of the journey that we started in the mid seventies following two very tragic process safety incidents. It will discuss the approach our senior leadership then took, that has become one of the cornerstones of Air Products safety philosophy, which is designed to keep our own people and others affected by our operations safe. The talk will also review the lessons we learned, our current focus on how we manage and execute our process safety requirements on a global basis, and discuss the unique challenges and opportunities we face in the new world.
