Sidney Sapakie

Sidney F. Sapakie has completed a 33-year career in industry. His most recent position was vice president of International R & D for General Mills, Inc. He earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of Minnesota, and is a registered professional engineer. He has served on advisory boards at the University of Michigan, Minnesota, and Illinois. He is currently a consultant to industry and a Senior Fellow at the University of Minnesota. Sid was elected a Fellow of AIChE in 1998, and served as President of AIChE in 2003.
