Scott Love
Bio
Scott Love graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University in 1980. He started his career with Phillips Petroleum Company's Borger Refinery that same year and is currently a Fellow in ConocoPhillips' Research and Development organization working in the area of heavy crude oil technology development. Scott was registered as a professional engineer in Texas in 1985 and in Oklahoma in 1987 and retains both currently. He was elected AIChE Fellow in 2006, and served on the AIChE Board as Director 2003 - 2005 and as Secretary 2007 - 2009. Starting in the early 1990's, he served as Chair of the AIChE Membership and Professional Development Committees, and also served as Chair of the Career and Education Operating Council in 2001 and 2002. He received the Professional Progress in Engineering Award from the College of Engineering at KSU in 2000, and was named Alumni Fellow by the University in 2004.
