Minye Liu is a senior consultant in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and mixing at DuPont Engineering. Previously, he worked for Procter & Gamble Co.; Cray Research, Inc., and subsequently Silicon Graphics, Inc.; and the Center for Computer Aids for Industrial Productivity at Rutgers Univ.
He has served in the executive committee of the North American Mixing Forum (NAMF) since 2005 and has served as treasurer (2007 – 2010), vice president (2010 – 1012), and President (2012 – 2014).
He holds a BS in nuclear engineering from Harbin Engineering Univ. (China), an MS in power engineering from Dalian Univ. of Technology (China), an MS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton Univ., and a PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Rutgers Univ. He is a member of AIChE.
