Mariola Kopcinski is the director of global strategic marketing for FMC Corporation’s agricultural products business. In this role, she identifies, evaluates, and leads growth initiatives through a unique and open innovation model. She also serves on FMC’s corporate sustainability council and leads the effort to integrate sustainability practices into the agricultural products business. Mariola was born in Poland, where she earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in biochemistry in seed technology at Poznan University. She came to the U.S. for a post-doctoral position at Cornell University where she worked on seed anatomy and biocontrol. She also holds an MBA in finance from the University of Rochester, which she has supplemented over the years with the marketing training from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and INSEAD. Mariola is an author of several research articles and has presented at many technical and business meetings. She lives with her family in the Philadelphia area.
