Holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in chemical engineering and is a vice president and project manager in Eastern Research Group (ERG), Incorporated’s, Chantilly, VA, office. Kurt has 24 years of experience supporting both private sector and government clients in the area of environmental consulting, focusing on evaluating the manufacture, processing, and use of chemicals to support associated risk assessments. Additional focus includes process engineering, pollution prevention, and pollutant fate and transport; often relating to compliance with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Section 313 of the Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) which is commonly known as the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). Certified as an Environmental Management Systems lead auditor (RABQSA ISO 14001). 2015 Chair of the Environmental Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AIChE) and Past Chair of the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Forum (NSEF).
