Mr. Wincek is a Process Safety Specialist at Croda, Inc. He has over 20 years of industrial experience in Safety and Health, Production Management and, for the past 13 years, in Process Safety. Specific areas of expertise include Risk Assessment, Hazard Studies, Consequence Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Chemical Reaction Safety and Emergency Relief Sizing. He is experienced in all aspects of Process Safety Management. He has written multiple peer-reviewed articles on Process Safety, and authored the Chemical Reaction Safety chapter in the Handbook of Loss Prevention Engineering. He is a frequent presenter at international process safety conferences, including the Global Congress on Process Safety (USA) and the Hazards conference (UK). He has served on or chaired multiple committees for the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS), including those producing books on Organizational Change Management and Quantitative Safety Risk Criteria, among others. He has also provided peer review for multiple CCPS publications, and is an 8-year member of CCPS' Technical Steering Committee. He served as the Chairman of the 2013 CCPS Symposium at the Global Congress on Process Safety, and has chaired multiple topical sessions at the Global Congress.
