Bio
Dr. John W. Prados, is Vice President and University Professor Emeritus at the University of Tennessee, where he served for more than 50 years. A consultant for industry, government, and education, he was also Senior Education Associate in the NSF Engineering Directorate. He has served as Engineering Accreditation Commission Chair and President of ABET; Treasurer and Director of AIChE; and editor of the Journal of Engineering Education . He is a fellow of ABET, AIChE, and ASEE and a Registered Professional Engineer (retired) in Tennessee.
