Dr. Jack Watson has more than 40 years experience at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and he is an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee.
He holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). Dr Watson is currently Field Coordinator for the Efficient Separation and Processing Crosscutting Program of DOE/EM and deals with separation methods needed to treat waste and environmental problems at the DOE sites. He is author or co-author of approximately 100 paper and reports and the author of one book.
He is member of the AIChE and the ACS and particularly active in committees of the AIChE (formerly chair of the Separations Division and chair of the Research and New Technology Committee) and is associate editor of the journal Separation Science and Technology.
