Hope Atchison

Currently I am a student at Trine University working on completing a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in BioProcess Engineering. Chemical Engineering focuses on process engineering with an emphasis on chemical reactions and safety principles. Using the skills and knowledge gained from my courses, I have been able to look at my company's challenges and develop new ways of accomplishing our goals. I have also been able to reduce downtime and increase productivity of our production line. SAChE certified in: Safety in Chemical Processes, Runaway Reactions, Risk Assessment, Chemical Reactivity Hazards, Inherently Safer Design, Dust Explosion Control, Process Safety 101, Process Safety Lessons Taught from Experience Through maintaining a high GPA in rigorous academics and extracurricular activities I have demonstrated advanced organizational abilities and time management. I am a very goal oriented and determined person. My goal is to one day make a difference in peoples' lives by developing new solutions to their problems. I strive to excel in every area of my life. Each day I wake up and find a way to better myself. I enjoy learning something new each and every day.
