Frank van Lier
Frank has 34 years of experience leading people and projects across Manufacturing, R&D and New Product Development. Currently, he is Operations Support Manager for Lubrizol’s Bayport and Deer Park manufacturing plants with responsibility for process technology, process safety, automation support, fired equipment and training.
Frank started his career in process development. He then moved to Lubrizol’s Painesville, Ohio manufacturing plant where for 10 years he worked in a variety of roles. These included environmental engineer and section superintendent, working with a small team that built manufacturing capability and marketed and sold products containing Lubrizol’s controlled release technology. Most recently, he was process technology and sourcing team lead with global responsibility for a broad range of specialty chemistries.
Frank has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from Case Western Reserve University.
