I graduated magna cum laude from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2005 with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and minors in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biochemical Engineering. After graduating, I worked for a number of start-up companies, focusing on the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up operations of pilot and demonstration scale facilities. I currently work for Merrick & Company as a Process Engineer II. Merrick & Co is an employee-owned engineering, architecture, and design-build firm. I work in the Energy market sector and my projects range from processes in traditional energy sources to sustainable renewables and industrial biotechnology.
In addition to my involvement in AICHE, I also tutor high school students as part of the Math Enrichment Program (MEP) for the Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists (CABPES). I currently live in Denver, CO where I’m involved in a number of social sports leagues. I also love backpacking, biking, snowboarding, hiking with my dog (Baxter), and cheering for the Packers on Sundays. I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
