Bio
Annette Johnston is Senior Project Manager at Abbott Laboratories Diagnostics Div. (North Chicago, IL), where she has worked for over 20 years in development, compliance, engineering, and manufacturing roles. She was a design and research engineer at Monsanto, and gained experience in the specialty chemicals industry. She received her BS in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is working toward a Master’s degree in engineering management at Northwestern Univ. In 30 years of practice, she has been active in AIChE on both the local and national levels. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2012.
