One recent Legacy Society inductee is the late Klaus Timmerhaus, AIChE’s president in 1976 and a Fellow of the Institute. Timmerhaus, who died in Feb. 2011, made a bequest of $100,000 to the AIChE Foundation, along with a request that the funds be allocated to AIChE’s Unrestricted General Fund.
