The editorial team of AIChE Journal is collaborating with AIChE meeting session chairs to identify some of the most compelling and innovative research presented at the recently concluded 2012 Annual Meeting (held Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 in Pittsburgh, PA) — and to invite the authors to publish their work in a new AIChE Journal Annual Meeting Best Papers series. According to Mike Harold, Editor-in-Chief of AIChE Journal, the editorial team has asked all Annual Meeting session chairs to nominate the “best paper” from their sessions by mid-November. The editors will then invite the nominated presenters to submit their papers, which will go through the Journal’s normal rigorous peer-review process. Harold says that the Journal’s editorial team is planning to debut the first selection of Annual Meeting Best Papers in the first half of 2013. Published in collaboration with John Wiley and Sons, AIChE Journal is the Institute’s foremost peer-reviewed publication, covering groundbreaking research in chemical engineering and related fields.
