Major Engineering Societies To Host 2013 Carbon Management Technology Conference

The 2013 Carbon Management Technology Conference (CMTC), which will tackle the critical issue of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and how society can respond to climate change, will be held from October 21-23 in Alexandria, Va. The conference will be chaired by Dave Rogers, General Manager, Energy Modeling, Corporate Strategic Planning at Chevron and will revolve around the key issues of technologies, strategies, policies, management systems and the metrics of carbon management. This is the second conference sponsored by the Founder Societies’ Technologies for Carbon Management, which was founded in 2008 by engineering professionals throughout the United States who believe they have a responsibility to find solutions to the problem of worldwide greenhouse gas emissions.
