Sheri McCoy

Sheri S. McCoy is the former Vice Chairman, Executive Committee, Johnson & Johnson. She was responsible for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer business segments. She was named to this role in December 2010. She previously led the Company’s Surgical and Pharmaceutical businesses.Sheri began her Johnson & Johnson career in 1982 as a scientist in research and development, and has held diverse positions of increasing global responsibility. She was named to the Johnson & Johnson Executive Committee in 2008.
Sheri has led organizations through significant transitions, including product launches, acquisitions and loss of product patent exclusivity. She is a passionate advocate for diversity of thought, leadership development, employee engagement and customer focus. A member of the board of the National Quality Forum and of the Institutes of Medicine’s Roundtable on Value & Science-Driven Healthcare, Sheri holds four U.S. patents and degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, Princeton University, and Rutgers University.
