The 2008 AIChE Energy Prize
The AIChE Energy Prize Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Student Paper Award Competition. The Energy Prize Student Paper Award is presented to those undergraduate student members of AIChE who submitted outstanding papers that examined local short-term solutions to improve the energy equation in a state or metropolitan area.
The papers were judged by a committee of members from both industry and academia. Congratulations to this year’s winners!

The papers will be presented at the Institute for Sustainability’s Youth Council poster session “Student Excellence in Addressing Societal Issues with Engineering Expertise.” The session will be held on Monday, November 17 at 12:30-3:00pm in Exhibit Hall A of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Awards will be presented during the session.
Winners must be present at the AIChE Annual Meeting to present the paper and receive the award.
