Day 2 Opening Remarks for the AIChE and A&WMA Joint Workshop

Dr. Danny David Reible earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1982. He joined the faculty of The University of Texas at Austin 2004. He directs the Hazardous Substance Research Center/South and Southwest, a consortium of five universities. Dr. Reible is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the nation's highest honor for engineering professionals. Reible researches contaminant processes in the environment, models pollution transport, and assesses and remediates contaminated sediments.
