Upstream Engineering and Flow Assurance engineering requires an ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving industry's technical education and vigilance. The original "upstream engineering and flow assurance specialists" are retiring and a new generation of flow assurance and upstream engineering professionals is taking their place.

This conference will communicate the latest developments to practicing engineers and technologists in upstream engineering and flow assurance. It will also help introduce upstream engineering and flow assurance methodology and tools to the next generation of practitioners.

Perhaps the largest gathering of upstream engineers and flow assurance professionals in the world, The 1st International Conference on Upstream Engineering and Flow Assurance is presented by the Upstream Engineering and Flow Assurance Forum (UEFA) and the AIChE. This annual event -- the primary forum for practitioners to share practical and technological advances in all aspects of upstream engineering and flow assurance -- is composed of three tracks of 16 coordinated technical sessions in the realm of Flow Assurance and Upstream Engineering.
