Reichhold is one of the world’s largest suppliers of unsaturated polyester resins for composites and a leading supplier of coating resins for a wide variety of markets and applications. Over the company’s 87 years history, Reichhold has grown to include 19 manufacturing sites and 5 technology centers. Reichhold has the widest global reach of any resin supplier today and has around 1300 employees worldwide. The company manufactures at its Valley Park facility several million pounds of polyesters, urethanes, and epoxies annually. The AICHE Saint Louis Local Section is fortunate to have the opportunity to tour Reichhold’s Valley Park, Missouri manufacturing plant where some of these products are produced on their 6 acre site. Please arrive at the facility by 4:30 PM and park in the main lot.
