Are you seeking to reenter the workforce and interested in receiving a Travel Award to fund your trip to the Spring AIChE meeting? The Women’s Initiatives Committee recognizes the difficulty women reentering the workforce face in obtaining financial support to attend AIChE conferences. As part of our mission to promote reentry and retention of women in the field of Chemical Engineering, WIC is supporting travel for women seeking reentry to industry or academia. Through our travel awards, WIC provides individuals up to $500 to be utilized towards travel (hotel, airfare, meals and incidentals) and registration fees. Candidates are asked to provide the following items:
· Cover letter detailing reason and plans for reentry to industry and/or academia
· CV
· AIChE membership ID # (if applicable)

Travel award winners will be notified ahead of the early registration deadline, and will be recognized at the WIC Luncheon on April 11th at the AIChE Spring Conference.
