Rui Cruz

Dr. Cruz studied chemical engineering at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and at Karlsruhe University (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in Germany.  He joined Dow Chemical Company in 2001 and has worked at both international and national locales.  His responsibilities have ranged over Human Resources, Technical Services, Customer Services and Research and Development, for several different products and technologies.  Most recently, he was Group Leader for Polygcols and Surfactants R&D until 2011 when he became the Associate Director for R&D for Epoxy Process, Amines and Chelants and Plastic Additives.  Dr. Cruz has been responsible for the recruitment of chemical engineering PhDs for the Materials Division of Dow Chemical Company since 2011.
