Mike Millard is the Sr. Vice President and General Manager for the Catalyst, Adsorbents & Specialty sector of UOP. In this role, Mike has worldwide P&L accountability for seventy different UOP Catalyst and adsorbent products. The activities include preparation of the strategic, annual operation plan, market plans for each product line to support new product launch strategies and VOC based stage gate business cases to guide R&D programs and ISC capital planning. Market communications plans are developed to align with segment strategies and brand image.
During his thirty four year career with UOP, Mike has worked in almost every area of the business. Prior to the last year as the Sr. Vice President, Mike held the R&P Catalyst Business Director role, two Sales Director positions for the catalyst and adsorbents portfolio covering the Americas, India and Asia regions. Preceding that, he spent seven years in the UK office where he was a Sales Manager for the FSU, growing the business in catalyst and process technology. Previous assignments included R&D, marketing, business management and technical services.
Mike is based out of the UOP offices in Des Plaines, Illinois. Mike holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technical University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
