Division and Forum Awards honor individuals for excellence in their technical fields. A wide range of fields are represented.

Clarence (Larry) G. Gerhold Award

Recognizes an individual's outstanding contribution in research, development, or in the application of chemical separations technology. Starting in 2010 the award will be presented in even years to nominees from industry or non academic entities, and in odd years to nominees from academia.

Computing Practice Award

Recognizes outstanding contributions in the practice or application of chemical engineering to computing and systems technology.

CoMSEF Graduate Student Award

CRE Travel Awards

The Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Division will make up to 20 travel awards to assist graduate students with their travel expenses so that they can attend the AIChE Annual meeting and present the results of their research.

Donald Q. Kern Award

In honor of Donald Q. Kern, pioneer in process heat transfer, the Division recognizes an individual's expertise in a given field of heat transfer or energy conversion.
