Interview: WISE Intern Tomas Wesley Green, Univ. Kansas

Tomas Wesley Green from the University of Kansas used his WISE internship in Washington to study how agricultural resources can contribute to the energy supply and bioeconomy. He looked at both policy and technical issues related to bioenergy sources for his research. As part of the program, Tomas presented his findings at the AIChE Annual Meeting, along with other WISE interns. 

In addition to discussing his work, he shares what his expeirence was like in Washington and shares advice for other chemical engineering students. 

All interns’ research was published online in the September 2016 edition of the WISE Journal of Engineering and Public Policy, available at www.wise-intern.org/journal.
