G.Q. Max Lu is the president and vice-chancellor of the University of Surrey. He was also the presenter of the 2016 Danckwerts Lecture.
Max's talk is entitled "Engineering Nanocrystalline Photocatalysts for Energy and Environmental Applications." Anton Middelberg, University of Queensland, interviewed him on the key points of his lecture.
