The Latest YPC News

It's almost that time of year again! No, not the time of year when you start seeing pumpkin everything in the stores -- well, actually it's that time of year too. It is time for the AIChE Board of Directors Elections! It is important as members for us to get educated on the candidates and vote!

In this issue of the YPC Newsletter you will find the responses from Board Candidates on YP-related questions.

Please take a little time to read through their views before the election voting opens up on September 16. You will receive an email that will provide you with information on how to vote. Help shape the future of the Institute -- Vote!

Thanks so much, Elizabeth J. H. Guenther, Chair YPC

AIChE Board of Directors Election

AIChE holds an annual election for the Board of Directors. Board members are elected for three-year terms. In any given year, one-third of the Board will be up for election. The candidates for this year's election have answered questions that were submitted by young professional members about the chemical engineering profession, how they see the future of AIChE and more. Each week leading into the election a new question and the candidates' responses will be added to ChEnected. You can check back through this link or directly on ChEnected to see what they have to say. Don't forget to cast your vote starting September 16 through October 21. Paper ballots have been mailed and an email will be sent with instructions on how to vote. Your voice as a young professional is the voice of the future of chemical engineering. Make your voice heard by voting for your favorite candidates!
