Meet Stuart Krueger - ChEnected's Featured YP for March, 2010

Bio: Stuart Krueger graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with his B.S.E. Chemical Engineering. He is currently working as a Process Engineer at Dow Chemical in the great state of Michigan, where he lives with his wife and puppy Charlie and has mastered the art of shoveling snow. Stuart or "Stu" as his friends call him comes from a family of engineers that includes his father and 3 brothers, one of which is still in school. Stu has a long history of volunteering and helping others. Examples include being a mentor for high school students learning about math and science in the MMSS (Michigan Math and Science Scholars) program. Stu currently volunteers at a local middle school's SMART program, tutoring middle school students in math while secretly brushing up on how to do long division. "Seriously, when's the last time you used a pencil and paper to see how many times 88 goes into 943 - without a remainder?", he queries. Recent Accomplishments: Stu has been an active AIChE member since his student days at University of Michigan. Most recently, he has played a key role in the creation and development of ChEnected, guiding AIChE with a YP perspective. He's put in many hours of hard work in writing some of the initial posts you'll see on The Reactor Blog. And he'll continue to be a regular contributor and active participant, helping us better understand our audience - other young professionals like him. Stu blogs monthly for AIChE's ChEnected on Process Engineering, Career & Professional Development, and more. You can connect with him on LinkedIn.

Join us in congratulating Stu!
