Type 515 plunger-rod insertion machine
The Type 515 plunger-rod insertion machine can assemble up to 60 syringes per minute. Syringes with diameters ranging from 16 to 52 mm and heights from 30 to 130 mm are manually fed into a chute, and then are transported through four different stations. At the first station, a plunger rod is threaded into a syringe. At the second station, a backstop is placed on the flange of each syringe. The third and fourth stations check the plunger rod and backstop integrity. Advanced controls allow the system to detect a defective product (such as excessive silicone in the syringe, undersized stoppers, or defective thread on the end of the rod), and abort the process. The defective part is tagged and automatically discharged to the reject station.

Type 550 filling and stoppering machine and Type 551 crimping machine
The Type 550 machine achieves aseptic filling and stoppering of pharmaceutical vials. The Type 551 crimping machine can be used directly inline with the Type 550 or on its own as a stand-alone unit. Used together, the machines offer repeatable precision and can handle up to 600 vials per minute. Their balcony design is compliant with cGMP guidelines, and the complete separation of the drive from the filling area optimizes the laminar airflow throughout the stations. Their mechanical areas are accessible from the back for easy maintenance, and their reduced widths offer easy access for operators. Both systems are suitable for through-the-wall installation.
