To suit specific application requirements, each ControlMaster model can be scaled from basic to advanced by adding plug-and-play function keys. A full-color thin-film-transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display shows process information and is easy to use. Its menus and operator prompts are provided in full text. Other features include: dead-time compensation; adaptive, predictive, and dual-loop control; cascade, feed-forward and ratio control; totalization; and troubleshooting diagnostics. Communications options include Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus protocols. Controller enclosures provide International Protection 66 (IP66) and National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4X environmental protection.
OriMaster
The OriMaster differential-pressure orifice flowmeter reduces installation costs by 50% because users do not need to install a separate manifold, transmitter, and impulse piping. This compact, one-piece unit is pressure-tested and configured during production, eliminating most of the problems normally associated with sizing, selection, installation and operation of conventional configurations. The flowmeter’s centralization tool ensures that the meter is correctly positioned in the pipeline. Both models are suitable for use with clean liquids, gases and steam in line sizes from 1 in. to 8 in. (DN25 to DN200), and at pressures up to 100 bar. The OriMaster V is designed for general-purpose volume measurement and features a stainless steel transmitter housing and meter body. The OriMaster M provides measurement directly in mass or corrected volume units using the manufacturer’s 267CS multivariable transmitter to measure differential pressure, temperature and pressure. The OriMaster M has a Type 316L stainless steel body and alloy transmitter case. Both support HART communications protocols, and the OriMaster M also supports Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus or Modbus.
364 pressure and differential-pressure transmitter
The 364 pressure and differential-pressure transmitter features an innovative design that eliminates the need for bolts, gaskets and flanges — all traditional leak paths in pressure transmitters. A lightweight all-stainless-steel housing and process connection is standard, along with a Hastelloy C-276 diaphragm for corrosive process media. The device has a stability of ±0.15% of maximum span for a 10-yr period, which reduces calibration frequency. An on-board LCD display with an “Easy Steup” menu configuration simplifies installation and commissioning.
Instrumentation for the Oil and Gas Industries
This 12-page brochure describes the company’s capabilities for optimizing plant assets via intelligent instrumentation within a straight digital architecture, as well as its full scope of services from start-up and commissioning through lifecycle support. A comprehensive graphic of oil and gas processing sequences indicates where specific instruments can measure, control and record data. More-detailed information on pressure and temperature instrumentation, flowmeters, analyzers, recorders and controllers is included, and final elements, such as pneumatic and electric actuators, intelligent positioners, and I/P converters, are summarized.
AquaProbe 1 and 2 insertion electromagnetic flowmeters
Making their U.S. debut, AquaProbe 1 and 2 insertion electromagnetic flowmeters are debuting as a cost-effective alternative to full-bore meters as well as a convenient way to perform surveys on existing lines and meters. Intended for permanent installations where power is available, AquaProbe 1 connects with the company’s MagMaster transmitter. It offers 4–20-mA analog output and HART communication options. AquaProbe 2, powered by a battery pack, primarily serves temporary installations, such as checking, verifying and certifying meters. These flowmeters are available in lengths of 12, 20, 25 and 40 in., for pipe diameters ranging from 8 in. to 320 in. Accuracy is better than ±2% of flowrate, and battery life is up to five years.
2600T safety pressure transmitter
According to this brochure, the 2600T safety pressure transmitter reduces the number of transmitters needed in SIL 2 and SIL 3 areas. The publication covers the transmitter’s functionality and principle of operation, and explains the significance of third-party certification by organizations such as TÜV. A bar chart compares the unit’s lifecycle costs to those of conventional transmitters, and a block diagram shows the functional modules that make up the transmitter’s diagnostic and redundant features.
