The SAChE Certificate Program offers working engineers an easy way to access a selection of knowledge about chemical process safety. Originally developed as a supplement to the undergraduate curriculum, these courses serve as an excellent introduction or refresher in chemical process safety for working professionals.
The program is composed of 8 independent units ranging from broad introductory overview courses to more focused, single-subject units. Each unit can be taken individually or you can take the entire series and build a serious foundation in process safety.

This course presents a strong introduction to the application of chemical process safety technology in an actual chemical facility. It contains a video series divided into 30 minute segments.Read more

Process Safety Lessons Taught from Experience
This certificate is designed to provide insight into important case histories related to process safety. By learning from the mistakes of others, the hope is to avoid similar mistakes. Although developed for chemical engineering faculty and students, the certificate can also be used as part of the safety orientation at industrial facilities.Read more

The course material prepares students to develop the information needed in plant design in a senior-level design course (e.g., a HAZOP on a process flow diagram) or provides background to topics discussed in a process safety course.Read more
