Personnel involved with day-to-day plant operations maintain an important role in the hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) process. These individuals are often the first to identify hazardous process conditions in an operating environment. Papers in to this session focus on tools and techniques for hazard identification and field evaluation. Subjects include educational platforms, programs that raise awareness and improve understanding, and practical methods that can be readily implemented at the plant level.
