Preparing a second edition of the Guideline for Writing Effective Operating and Maintenance Procedures. Update knowledge and regulatory requirements over the past decade.
The project has not yet raised enough interest to attract a minimum number of team members. The original guidelines book (G/L) content is still mostly valid but some topics, such as regulatory issues, need updating. The original G/L is no longer in publication. The team chair, Neil Maxson, Brian Kelly and Greg Keeports discussed revamping the project proposal to a “concept” style guidance book, directing readers to the original G/L content on the CCPS website (accessible with a password key). A revised project proposal in being developed for review by CCPS Management and possibly the Technical Steering Committee. The active project members will contact a small number of CCPS members, individually, in an attempt to raise interest in participating in this project.
