Marc McBride is a chartered chemical engineer with 25 years experience in process safety. He spent nearly 15 years working in consultancy in the UK and Hong Kong before moving to the Health and Safety Executive (the UK's regulatory agency) as a Fire Scientist. Marc joined Centrica plc in 2003 as Principal Safety Engineer in its upstream oil and gas business. He is now Group Head of Process Safety, providing professional leadership on technical safety matters across Centrica’s energy businesses in the UK, Europe and North America. Marc also currently chairs the UK Energy Institute’s process safety committee.
