A key characteristic distinguishing many who are highly effective in a work setting is the ability to connect with others, to network. This is true whether considering job transition or progression within an organization. This session explores networking and connecting, looking at why it is important, effective approaches, overcoming barriers that sometimes get in the way, and strengthening and expanding a network. This session is of interest to those wishing to energize their careers moving forward.
